We Believe Art is Catalyst for Change.
Inspired by Alex Luna's legacy, the ALFA Foundation empowers young artists in East Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley through free art classes, community murals and college scholarships. We use art to foster expression, uplift local culture, and create lasting change.
In Memory of Alexander Luna
The ALFA Foundation began as a heartfelt tribute to Alexander Luna, an East LA artist and graduate of Woodrow Wilson High.
What started as a single scholarship has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to the arts and empowering the next generation of creatives!

Our Values
At The ALFA Foundation, we champion students who've faced challenges but carry resilience, talent, and a deep passion for the arts. We support aspiring artists who view community college as a strategic path toward a creative career - not just a hobby.
Inspired by Alexander Luna's legacy, we believe greatness can come from any background. His journey reminds us that artists not only rise from their communities but return to uplift them.
We're here to honor legacy, empower artists, and transform communities - one student, one story, one brushstroke at a time.
