Mission
The Alexander Luna Fine Arts Scholarships (ALFA Scholars) honors the memory of Alex Luna by giving memorial scholarships to underserved college bound seniors at Wilson High School (LA), Alhambra Unified School District, and Sierra Vista High School (Baldwin Park) pursuing the fine arts, or related fields. ALFA Scholars wants to be an integral part of the narrative that encourages our young community members to pursue the arts in higher education and as a career option.
Vision
Our goal is to expand and offer more opportunities for these students with scholarships at Wilson High School, other local high schools, and community colleges throughout the southland.
Our Fundraisers
It’s our mission to raise money for scholarships at our fundraiser dinners with
Scarantino’s Italian Inn in Glendale and our third annual ALFA Golf Tournament.
2023 ALFA Golf Tournament
Join us for our third annual golf tournament fundraiser at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena, October 6th, 2023. We're offering course games, raffle prizes, and lunch!
Scarantino's Fundraiser Dinners
Enjoy a delicious meal at Scarantino's Italian Inn in Glendale during one of our fundraiser nights, a portion of the night's proceeds benefit ALFA Scholarships.
